We had a fabulous dinner at Just Hooked! Our waitress, Molly, was great! The crab & corn bruschetta appetizer was excellent! Our entrees-swordfish, scallops, crab cakes, and salmon- came out piping hot & incredibly prepared! The desserts (especially shortcake with berries!) and the coffee was a perfect end to a perfect meal! Can't wait to go back!
My 'go to' restaurant. I love trying something new, and I am always pleasantly surprised. Great chef(s). Love the fish dishes, red snapper, etc, but it is the sauces that takes the dishes over the top.
The food and presentation are wonderful. The chef does a spectacular job creating new dishes and using his creativity when preparing the dish to be delivered to the table. Best restaurant I have been to in the surrounding area.
We had dinner there last night and it was fantastic! We started with the fried calamari, which had a nice light batter and slightly spice sauce. It was cooked perfectly. Then our whole party ordered the scallops with cheesy grits. The scallops were cooked just right, the grits were not too cheesy and there was just the right amount of bacon. We had wine and beer all of which were really good. And the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, from the young woman who seated us, to our waitress Molly, to the young man who cleared our plates and stopped to chat. This is a great place and we will be back!
The appetizers were delicious-bang bang shrimp and crab and corn burschetta. I had great crab cakes, lump meat and no fillers. Service was excellent!
We had a wonderful experience and will definitely go again! Food was fresh and waitstaff wonderful. Waitress recommended drinks as well as entree and she was right on.
Excellent food. Excellent service. You will LOVE this place. Our server, Mary, helped make it even better. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed happy hour twice this week. Food was fabulous and Danelle behind the bar is fantastic. Next time we are in Fenwick we will be back
We've been dining at Just Hooked in Fenwick Island for 6 years and it remains our favorite. We normally dine at the "Chef's Bar" where we can watch and kibitz with the chefs and cooks. The food is always freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Scallops are outstanding but any of the fresh fish are also and always outstanding. Last week I decided to eat light so I ordered appetizers - the mussels were perfectly cooked and a bit different - there were small pieces of Italian sausage in the fabulous light sauce! This was a $6 appetizer that was really a full dinner for me.
Service was, as usual, helpful and courteous. By the way, even non-fish eaters love their food!
